Behind the sale: The record-breaking Spring Lake sale


So much goes into the sale of a property, even when the market is hot like it has been in recent years. 

We’ve shared stories from record-hitting sales, successfully selling off-market, and problem solving when a buyer falls through. This next behind-the-scenes sale story is another record-breaker. 

The Nitschke real estate agents had two successful sales campaigns in Spring Lake, Mount Barker. 

The latest property was located at 14 Dianella Street, Spring Lake, Mount Barker and sold for $775,000. Claire Ritchie as the lead sales agent for the campaign. 

Here’s the story behind the sale. 

It was a beautifully presented home with the sellers getting it market ready. They did all the right things and invested in all the specs/features when they built the home. 

This made it a pleasure to take to market, with the seller taking on board any suggestions we had. 

As for the campaign, we had a very busy first open (on a Saturday) with offers coming in that day. There were a total of six offering parties, which allowed us to close the campaign, succeeding the asking range. 

It was a record sale for a three-bedroom home under 300 square metres in the area. This sale story is proof that when you pair a premium property with the right guidance, the results follow.
