5 new attractions in the Adelaide Hills
With a region growing as fast as ours, there are new attractions, eateries and things to do always emerging.
Our team of real estate agents and property managers have lived in the Adelaide Hills for decades – and we have intel on what’s happening in the Hills with our wide community network.
So much of real estate is about lifestyle and community, not just the property and land. This is why we’re committed to showcasing all that the Hills has to offer, across the dozens of towns in our region. Every town and area of the Adelaide Hills has its own vibe and lifestyle appeal.
Here’s what’s new in the Adelaide Hills.
1. Splash pool playground
There’s a brand new splash park at the Woodside War Memorial Swimming Centre. It opened in November 2025.
2. Misk Café in Mount Barker
Misk Café opened in the Aston Hills Shopping Centre, bringing Middle Eastern flair to the Adelaide Hills.
3. Balhannah Wines Estate’s $4M cellar door
A luxury winery and resort is coming to the Hills. Boutique chalets hidden among the vineyards will transport you to Tuscany. The Balhannah Wines Estate development will further position the Adelaide Hills as a tourist destination.
4. Sidewood’s new sculpture
There’s a giant wine bottle sculpture at Sidewood Estate that’s become an attraction in itself. It was created by the late Gold Coast artist, Richard Howie.
5. Laser Clay Target Shooting and Vertical Tasting
This is exactly as it sounds – laser tag, plus tasting. A very Adelaide Hills experience. It’s located at the Ashwood Estate Laser Clay Shooting Range.
