Behind the sale: This Mount Barker property sold privately, with us as ‘matchmaker’
When you think of a property for sale campaign, you probably imagine a big marketing budget with dozens of interested parties – the property going to the highest bidder.
But there’s a quieter way to sell a home that works better for some families. You can bypass the public showings altogether by selling in private, off-market.
That’s the strategy our Sales Associate, Jasmine Fuller, used for 15a Lorikeet Road Mount Barker.
This campaign was special for multiple reasons.
20 years ago, the seller bought it as her first home. This will also be the first home for the buyer.
We sold another house on the street, and the neighbour referred Nitschke, which is always helpful because we know the area well. That recommendation happened a few years ago and we’d been supporting the owner to get it ready for market.
Once she was ready to sell, Jasmine got on the phone to relevant buyers via our off-market service and showed them through the home privately. From there, we had an excited buyer ready to sign, which the seller was happy with.
It was a fast, no-fuss way of selling, where the focus is on quality over quantity. What’s great is we get to know our list of interested buyers, so once a house is ready to be sold, we know exactly who to present it to.
