Adelaide Hills Property Market Update – April 2026

The Details: 

It’s been a tumultuous month globally speaking, which is having an effect on things locally. The cost-of-living crisis has made international news. 

The Reserve Bank has made a decision on the back of the inflationary environment to increase the official cash rate to 4.1%. Since then, we’ve seen the inflation numbers at 3.7, which is expected to increase much more than that later in the year. 

From a property standpoint, this means we’re going to be contending with more interest rates to come, and that’s going to create some headwinds for our market. 

What we’re seeing in the last 30 days within the Nitschke team is steady interest. We’ve met over 250 buyers that are interested in making a move in the Adelaide Hills area, so if you’re thinking of selling,  reach out to our team.
